Transfer Credits

An initial review of your prior academic record has been completed, which includes coursework from outside the United States.
In order to grant transfer credit to Queensborough Community College courses, further evaluation by our faculty is required.
The following documents are needed and must be provided as soon as possible:
  • Course descriptions for all courses with grades of “C” or better
  • Course Syllabus for all courses with a grade of “C” or better
  • Certified translations for original documents that are not in English.
NOTE: Course evaluations from an outside agency, such as WES, are generally not required, however, please be aware that if you are seeking credits for courses in the Social Sciences, you will need to have an evaluation from an outside agency.

Copies of the above documents with your full name and CUNY ID number can be emailed as attachments to InternationalEvals@qcc.cuny.edu.

IMPORTANT: There is no guarantee that your transfer credit evaluation will be completed before the registration period or start of the semester. If you expect transfer credit for a particular course, please inform your adviser and do not register for that course equivalency at QCC.

Please email InternationalEvals@qcc.cuny.edu with any questions regarding your transfer credit evaluation.
